HTC will stream an event live from its home country (Taiwan) on its website, starting at 2 AM New York.
The Taiwanese phone maker expected to unveil an HTC phone codenamed “OCEAN” and most likely to be called the HTC U.
The HTC U is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch touchscreen 2560 x 1440 resolution, a Snapdragon 835 chipset, 12MP rear camera and 16MP front camera, 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage, depending on the model. Expected to run Android Nougat 7.1. It won’t have a headphone jack. Most importantly, HTC U will obviously feature what HTC names “Edge Sense” which gives you the ability to call menus and interact with the handset by swiping and squeezing on its edges.
These specifications are but rumors, thus. You will have to wait until May 16th to find out for certain.
